Adam and Jackie Sappington of The Country Cat Dinner House and Bar know all about needing an apron that will stand up to their cooking adventures. Adam is a decorated butcher who cooks with seasonal, locally grown produce that may come in to the restaurant with the dirt and roots included. Jackie is one of the city's most talented pastry chefs and needs an apron that will stand between her and clouds of flour while still being comfortable enough to allow her to create her delicate desserts.

Adam and Jackie have come together to create this apron and are calling it The Broken Cleaver Butcher Apron. Made of 65% cotton, the apron is light enough for a woman yet sturdy enough for a man. Inspired by the one-shoulder garments the couple wore in France, it allows them to move more comfortably than they had with any other apron. The aprons are one-size-fits-all, and are equipped with an adjustable leather shoulder strap allowing it to fit any preference and leave necks unconstrained. The garment is hand sewn by the Portland Garment Factory.
